An Elm Grove woman used physical and sexual abuse as a form of punishment for her children, Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies said today after arresting her on charges of indecent behavior and juvenile cruelty charges.
The children's living environment was "hell on earth," Bossier Parish sheriff's Lt. Ed Baswell said.
Brandi Anne White, 28, of Elm Grove was arrested Thursday night after an investigation that began when a teacher notified a social worker about concerns for the children.
Baswell said the five children told of inappropriate sexual activity among them and that White would walk naked in front of her children. Physical examinations and psychological interviews indicated physical and sexual abuse of the children, whose ages were not disclosed.
The children's father lived at the house. No charges have been filed against him but authorities said their investigation is continuing.
White was jailed today under $30,500 bond.
Deputies said they also found a crack pipe at the house.
