A San Antonio woman has divorced her husband, who is accused of trying to hire someone to kill her.
A state district judge on Tuesday granted the divorce of Mike and Tina Yuchnitz, with the couple agreeing to the terms of a jury-ordered 50-50 split of their community property. Mike Yuchnitz is an area businessman known for sporting colorful outfits in television commercials for his optical and tattoo shops
The San Antonio Express-News (http://bit.ly/PcLYIK ) reports that Tina Yuchnitz filed for divorce shortly after her husband was arrested in October 2010.Mike Yuchnitz, charged with solicitation of capital murder, is set to go to trial next month.
The divorce trial included Tina Yuchnitz's attorney reading from transcribed recordings of Mike Yuchnitz discussing with an alleged police informant having Tina Yuchnitz killed.
