Woman who was present when Texas trooper killed faces more charges

The woman who was with Brandon Robertson the night he shot and killed a Texas state trooper is now facing charges she helped Robertson avoid capture for two days.

Authorities said Jennifer Petrick got out of a car just before Robertson committed suicide as law officers moved in to arrest him for the murder of Trooper James Scott Burns.

Petrick was initially arrested on probation violation charges. She's now been charged with hindering the apprehension of a felon and failing to report a felon.

Petrick is in the Cass County Jail in Linden.
