The young woman who died Thursday when her twin brother ran their car into an 18-wheeler that was parked alongside Interstate 30 in Bowie County, Texas, has been identified as Nicole Vanetta, 20, of Bryan, Texas.

Texas state troopers said Jacob Vanetta was eastbound on I-30 west of Texarkana when his Volkswagen Passat ran onto the shoulder of the highway and hit the back of the 18-wheeler, which was stopped because of a flat tire.

Nicole Vanetta was dead at the scene. Jacob Vanetta was taken to a Longview hospital.

The truck driver was in the cab and was not hurt.
