Zwolle man killed in early morning crash
A Zwolle man is dead after crashing his pick-up early this morning along a Sabine Parish road.
It happened on Highway 483, just south of Highway 174, about 3:30 a.m. this morning.
State Police say 20-year-old Nick Brevelle was traveling northbound when he lost control and left the road.
He vaulted across a creek, hit an embankment, and his truck burst into flames.
Brevelle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say alcohol is a suspected factor in the crash.
It's not known whether Brevelle was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.
LA State Troop E Troopers have investigated 61 fatal crashes in 2012, resulting in 66 fatalities.
