A manager at an apartment complex is arrested for theft

Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman who was accused of stealing more than $12,000 from Family Manor Apartments in Baton Rouge.

Shanetria Parker, 34, was a manager at the complex and reports say she took tenants' rent money by making their money orders out to herself.

Police say she also issued fraudulent receipts for work that was never done. Deputies arrested Parker at her home and booked her with 22 counts of forgery and two counts of theft.
