Freddie  has been in foster care for the past ten years.  He's been through a lot.  He appears smaller than his age due to being born with fetal alcohol syndrome.

Now, at age 12, Freddie has been placed with a permanent family, with the love an support he needs for life.   Freddie is part of a loving family in Coushatta, Louisiana that has adopted six children.  His mom, Marie, is so happy to have Freddie as part of their family, " It makes me feel good.  Freddie makes everybody feel good cause he's a great little boy to be around."

Freddie loves the way his new mom takes care of him.  "She takes care of me and stuff and if I fall down, she puts a bandaid on or something like that."
