12-year-old Rashaad wants more than anything in the world to be placed in a permanent home. He’s living now at Hope Youth Ranch. Rashaad says, "My mom left me and I need a place to have a mom and dad to take care of me."
Rashaad likes basketball and football and wants a family who likes to cook, so that they can teach him how. He’d love to be with a family that likes to go to church. Rashaad loves the idea of having a family that can prepare him for life and help him become the person he wants to be.
If you’re interested in providing Rashaad with a permanent home, contact the Shreveport Office of the Louisiana Department of Social Services at 318-676-5048. Remember, you can adopt across state lines.
