A Shreveport attorney has been indicted on charges he failed to file federal income tax returns for three straight years.

Gordon Blackman Jr., 50, was charged by the federal grand jury in Shreveport with three counts of failing to file income tax returns. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 15.

Federal prosecutors said Blackman had income totaling $488,587 for 2002-04 but intentionally failed to file tax returns any of those years.
