Bossier City Police were involved in a chase just before noon today.  They were notified at 11:40 by the U.S. Marshal's office of a suspect who was in their vicinity.  Bossier City Police located Jeffery Davis, 33, near Swan Lake Road and I-220.  He led them on a chase along Benton Road where he reached speeds of up to 65 miles per hour and ran two stop lights.  Davis finally stopped the vehicle and took off on foot at Shed Road. He was captured shortly after that.  Police say he had a warrant out for his arrest on drug charges.  Davis will now be facing additional charges in Bossier City.

Good Catch BCPD.  Does anybody know what was going on at Youree and Washington at about 11:00?  Saw many police cars and one BC police car had a car pulled over that had apparently been running on the rim.  Wondered if it was another chase incident.

That was an odd thing to see...I'm pulling onto Doctors Dr. from Benton Rd., went around the two sharp curves, and the next thing I see is blue and red lights from all the cop cars coming my way. I told my girlfriend, Ms. A., who was with me at the time, "what in the world is going on?" Next thing I know I see this little beat up green Ford Escort coming our way with all the BCPD following him at a very high speed... It's a very small road...I'm still wondering how he managed to take the curves and still get away from the police! Good Job Guys!!! One more criminal off the streets. I'm just glad to know that nobody was hurt during all of this.
