The three city inspectors and three of the four contractors arrested on fraud charges are set to be arraigned today.  The seven were arrested back in August.  The contractors allegedly made more than $1.5 million for work they did through the Limited Repair Program.  The inspectors are accused of signing off on shoddy repairs, or work that was never done at all.  The fourth contractor Alphonso Williams will not be in court today.  He's set to appear next week for charges in another case.
Also, later today Caddo Parish Sheriff Steve Prator will announce the formation of a specialized unit to investigate allegations of government corruption.  He's set to hold a news conference at 10:30 this morning.  Stay with KTBS 3 News for more on these stories. We'll have the latest beginning tonight on KTBS 3 News at 5:00.
