Pair of shootings keeps police busy
Around 8:00 p.m. last night, Shreveport Police responded to a shooting in the 4000 block of Miles Street.When authorities arrived, they found 42 year old James Price III suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Price told authorities he was hanging out with some men he didn't know when he was shot.
The second shooting happened about thirty minutes later. Police responded to a shooting at an apartment home in the 2900 block of Peach Street.
When they arrived, they found 28 year old Charles Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound to the right elbow. Jackson said several men were fighting near the apartment complex when one pulled out a gun and began firing shots.
Both men were taken to LSU Health Shreveport. Police are still working to track down suspects in both of these shootings.
