Authorities have obtained a search warrant for a suspect wanted for allegedly shooting a man earlier this week in Shreveport.

Investigators have charged Davin Dale, 23, with one count of aggravated second degree battery.

Dale, of the 2800 block of Catherine Street in Shreveport, is sought in connection with a shooting in the Queensborough neighborhood on March 1. Shreveport police say Dale shot Sherman Fredieu, 25, in the leg following an altercation. Fredieu was transported to LSU Hospital with what was described as a non-life-threatening injury.
