Customs agent charged

U.S. customs officer, Rudy Trace Soliz has been charged with transporting an illegal immigrant. 

The 43 year-old was working on the U.S.-Mexico border and made his initial appearance in federal court in Brownsville today just a day after his arrest.  Soliz has resigned, but U.S. Attorney's Office in Brownsville say he remains in federal custody.
