The Army psychiatrist suspected of opening fire on fellow soldiers at Fort Hood apparently cleaned out his apartment before the rampage.
His neighbor said that Hasan came over her apartment and said that we was going to be deployed on Friday. He gave her food, clothes, some shelves and a Muslim holy book. She also said that he later came back to give her an air mattress, several briefcases and a desk lamp.
The neighbor, Patricia Villa, said she was then offered $60 to clean his apartment after he was expected to leave today.
