Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers held its 3rd annual Flap-Jack Fundraiser Saturday morning. The event was held at Applebees on Mansfield Road.
Supporters got a hearty pancake breakfast, and could also shred any sensative documents they might aquire over the years, thanks to Shred-It Inc.
Sgt. Jim Taliaferro with the Shreveport Police Department says the event is not only vital to keeping Crime Stoppers alive, it's also a great way for the public to meet the officials that are trying to keep the streets safe.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go to help defray some of the administrative costs of Crime Stoppers.
