Sabine River Authority officials in East Texas say the levels at Toledo Bend are dropping. They say on Monday, the eleven spillway gates were opened to six feet. Then at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, the lake elevation was at 172.89 and the gates were adjusted to five feet. They say two hours later, the elevation dropped to 172.87 and the gates are open at four feet. There is still some flooding along the Sabine River in Logansport, Louisiana where water is still very close to a park and a new outdoor stage under construction is now under water.
