With a few quick cuts, Lachle's hair is ready for "Locks of Love," an organization that collects hair to make wigs for cancer patients. But the story doesn't stop there. Lachle's dad also happens to be an oncologist at CHRISTUS Schumpert Hospital.
Dr. Scott Boniol sees firsthand how much these hair donations can mean to his cancer patients.
"Locks of Love" doesn't just help kids with cancer. They also help children who have lost their hair due to an illness.
They need to cut at least ten inches off for donation. There are some other guildelines that you can find at http://www.charityguide.org/volunteer/fifteen/locks-of-love
