An NBA all-star returned to Shreveport to help build a new playground for local children.

Shreveport native and Washington Wizards player Antawn Jamison helped build a new Kaboom playground today.

It was built across the street from the Community Renewal Friendship house in Bossier City.

"It's always great to give back.  I think the pleasures you get to see on the kids face who get out there and play.  For the grownups to see the playground come together, it's always a good feeling," said Jamison.
