City leaders are asking you to Pause for the poor this Sunday. Shreveport's Christian Services organization held a news conference today, to help raise awareness of the plight of the poor in our area. Mayor Glover proclaimed November pause for the poor month. The Poor Man's Supper will be held this Sunday, at 6pm at the First United Methodist Church in Shreveport.
