Law enforcement officers all over the Ark-La-Tex are on high alert this long holiday weekend. While more motorists are traveling to their holiday destinations, more officers are hitting the roads to promote traffic safety. Texarkana, Arkansas police say this year they'll be enforcing a new law that makes seatbelt violations a primary offense.
Officers will continue the traffic safety campaign through Sunday at Midnight.
