A Webster Parish woman has been arrested on charges she was dealing drugs across the street from a school.
Amy Darlene Davidson, 43, of Minden, is accused of selling prescription drugs including Xanax and Soma.
“This arrest resulted from a typical undercover investigation,” sheriff's Lt. Shawn Baker said. “But in this case, the target was selling drugs directly across the street from an elementary school, so obviously it became a high priority.”
Davidson lived across the street from Richardson Elementary School, authorities said. No children bought drugs.
While searching Davidson’s house, agents said they found two computers that had been reported stolen from the school two weeks ago.
Michael Kevin Downs, 38, of Minden, was subsequently arrested for possession of stolen things.
