Red Cross Executive Director Reid Brau (left) received a big donation from Petrohawk representative Bill Simms at the sandbagging site near Dogwood Bridge in the Stockwell Place neighborhood today. The Red Cross has been feeding workers around the clock there since crews started shoring up the levee. Petrohawk donation was for $20,000. The Red Cross says that pays for more than 9,000 meals. The Red Cross has already spent more than $50,000 on local tornado and flood recovery efforts.
