A few showers and thunderstorms developed overnight in Southern Arkansas and Oklahoma. There is no severe weather as of now, but a few stronger thunderstorms are possible. Expect heavy rain, lightning and brief gusty winds with these storms.
These storms developed ahead of a weak cold front that will continue to move south throughout the day. That will cause the showers to move south, affecting areas along Interstate 20 by this afternoon. Temperatures will be much cooler today, with highs in the low 90s.
