Shreveport Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting. Thirty-seven year old Quintrail Merritt of Shreveport is wanted for one count of aggravated battery in connection with the November 12 shooting of 19 year old Christopher Jackson. Investigators say Merritt and Jackson had been involved in some type of ongoing dispute. Authorities believe Merritt drove by Jackson, who was walking on Stonewall Street, and opened fire. Merritt fled the scene. Jackson suffered non life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Quintrail Merritt is urged to call Crimestoppers at 673-7373.
