Pregnant women with stressful jobs have a higher risk of delivering a baby with low birth weight. Dutch researchers asked more than 8,000 working pregnant women about their employment conditions. They found working more than 32 hours in a high stress job during the first tri-mester affects baby's birth weight. Researchers say lowering job strain, and working less hours in the beginning stages of pregnancy reduces the risk of delivering a small infant.
