It's election day across parts of the country, including Texas.  Here's a look at some school propositions on the ballot.  Atlanta ISD's Bond Proposition passed 747 to 454, Avinger ISD's Tax Rollback passed 155 to 66, Clarksville ISD's New School Proposition failed (no numbers available), and Karnack ISD's Chapter 41, Robin Hood Act Option 3 passed 165 to 66 and Option 4 passed 144 to 86 as well.

The Harrison County Emergency Services Proposition District 6 passed 110 to 55.

There were a few alcohol propositions in our area also.  Pittsburg's Alcohol Proposition 1 failed 180 to 218, Pittsburg's Alcohol Proposition 2 passed 144 to 86, Mt. Pleasant's Alcohol Proposition 1 failed 490 to 1148, Mt. Pleasant's Alcohol Proposition 2 failed 575 to 1,047 and Pineland's Alcohol Proposition passed 100 to 48.

There were 11 proposed Texas Constitutional Amendments and they all passed.  All eleven needed voter approval to be added to the Texas State Constitution.  For a closer look at the races and the results, click here.
