A Dallas man has been sentenced to 3 years and six months in federal prison after prosecutors say he used a toy gun to rob a Texas bank.
A statement today from U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks says Freddie Darnell Ivory, 53, was sentenced as prosecutors say Ivory admitted that he robbed the First Convenience Bank in DeSoto on May 4th. Ivory approached the teller and displayed the toy gun and reports says he threatened to "blow her head off."
