The title on this story has to be in the poorest of taste. How offensive to make a joke of abuse. This child is 15 and being brutalized by a grown man. Why hasn't he also been charged with rape? When did it become legal for adults to have sex with children? I am ashamed that KTBS with its so called professional journalists and editors thought this was appropriate reporting.

I absolutly agree. The title of this article is in VERY poor taste. Shame on you KTBS.

Apparently this person was charged in March with Cruelty to a Juvenile and misd knowledge of a juvenile, according to Caddo Parish Prisoners in Jail. So they had him in custody and still let him go. It seems as though the system is giving the criminals too many chances. And when a life is lost, the system then wants to pay attention. How many warning signs are needed before that lock them up and throw away the key?

I keep trying to make sense of this story. Anyway, the headline to the story is pathetic. The sentence structure "strangling his 15 year-old mother of his child" is very confusing. The man is 18 but it sounds like his mother is 15, no wait, his mother of his child, now that's good English. Ktbs, hire some people that can write proper sentences. "Warning under 18? seek adult permission?? Seek adult permission to read the story? Seek adult permission to be strangled? I would like the editor to explain this story.

Yes Bob, you are absolutely right. I too was offended by the lack of grammer used in this story. Leah LeGender must have slept through her English and Writing classes, that is if she went to school at all and KTBS must be tryng to save money by hiring such unprofessional untrained, unskilled staff. KTBS owes an apology to this girl as well as all women everywhere who have been abused. I would like to suggest that Ms. LeGender apply for work with Dave Letterman. He seems to think its appropriate to joke about men raping and abusing women, especially the under age ones.
