Water can be great for cadio, but be careful Play Video

In this week's Lifelink Tip of the Week, we continue our Summer Swimsuit Challenge. Dr. Anil Nanda has tips on how to play it safe while in the water.

Dr. Nanda says it's important to be careful if you're driving in the water. Most spinal cord injuries happen in the water that's less than six feet deep. He also reminds residents the pool is an excellent place for cardio activity. It can provde a safe and effective workout for obese and elderly residents.
