Woman Poses As Insurance Agent

A woman posing as an insurance agent in Shreveport is in legal trouble after the state says it was discovered she was working without a license.

Investigators with Louisiana's Department of Insurance Fraud say 33-year-old Valarie Pouncy was soliciting, producing and quoting rates to customers without a license.

  Pouncy was served with a cease and desist order and a $1,000 fine.
