Severe Weather Threat Is Minimal

Forecast Update

POSTED: 5:40 pm CDT September 9, 2010
With what's left of Tropical Storm Hermine in Missouri this evening, the atmospheric spin has wound down. Thus, our tornado threat is minimal. Atmospheric winds are more southwesterly now and if any storms become severe, gusty winds would be the main problem.

Storms should dissipate near sundown and the chance for the Friday is only slight. Clouds roll in for Friday morning, followed by partly cloudy and hot conditions by afternoon. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 90s.
