Funeral services for Andy Lee Fonville, 90, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Roberts. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the funeral home. Andy was born on December 6, 1919 in Quitman, AR to Millard and Ruth Fonville. He passed away on August 29, 2010 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Force. Andy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Martin and Ida Mae Dutton; grandson, Kevin Fonville; and great-granddaughter, Addison Summers. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Arvedia (Vi) Fonville; son, Andy Lee Fonville, II, and wife, Kathy; daughters, Gloria Hines and husband, Tex, and Barbara Babineaux and husband, James; and brother, Tom Fonville. Pallbearers will be Christopher Summers, Chris Wallace, Donald Tupper, Brian Wilson, Marc Weddleton, and Albert Brasfield. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Raj Gandhi and Jennifer Cameron, Dr. Randy Bryn and Kristy Cory, and numerous caregivers.
