Vivian, La.-Funeral services celebrating the life of Shirley Jean Moore, 70, of Vivian, La will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Vivian United Methodist Church with Rev. Ellen Montegudo officiating. Interment will follow in the Vivian Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, La from 6-8 pm.

Mrs. Moore was born on September 14, 1939 in Vivian, La to her parents, Shellie and Effie Hartzo and passed away on September 1, 2010 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a member of the Vivian United Methodist Church, homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank W. Moore of Vivian, La, four children, one daughter, Jan Festavan and husband, Mike of Vivian, La, three sons, Dennis Moore and wife, Kathy of Shreveport, La, Donnie Moore and wife, Leisa of Katy, Tx, Tony Moore and wife, Valerie of Lafayette, La, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Harzo and wife, Patsy of Plain Dealing, La, Raymond Hartzo and wife, Debbie of Shreveport, La, numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Moore will be her grandsons, Cody Moore, Taylor Moore, Regan Moore, Trevor Moore, Lane Festavan, Alex Deschler and Buddy Wilson and Alvin McCall. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Lankford, Dickie Barfield and D. W. Little.
