Danny Gorbet, Sr.

Funeral services for Danny Gorbet, Sr., 64, will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Buddy Puryear. Interment will follow in Forest Park West. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the funeral home.

Danny was born on February 28, 1946, and passed away on August 28, 2010.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Shaw; and sister, Marilyn Musser. Survivors are his sons, Danny Gorbet, Jr., and Steve Gorbet and wife, Stephanie; grandsons, Christopher, Preston, Adam, and Case Gorbet; and brother, Tom Shaw and wife, Marguerite.
