Celebrate Education with Artbreak and the KTBS 3 Summer Reading Festival.  From April 20 - 26 we will Celebrate Education through reading and the arts at the Shreveport Convention Center.  The KTBS 3 Summer Reading Festival will bring thousands of second graders to the convention center where the Shreve Memorial Library Players will perform a play to emphasize reading.  Salt and Pepper, a magic act will perform and encourage children to read.  ARTBREAK will host 3rd grade days, and showcase thousands of pieces of art work from students.  The ARTBREAK Idol Talent Show Finals and Awards Ceremony will begin at 2:00 and will be shown LIVE on KPXJ CW21 from 3:00 - 4:00.  Come Celebrate Education with us!
 
Join us on KTBS 3 at 5:30 p.m. on April 19 for a preview of the 25th anniversary of the KTBS 3 SUMMER READING FESTIVAL and ARTBREAK, a look at 5 years of providing $1,000 checks to Teachers all over the ArkLaTex for 5 years, and our FIRST ONE SCHOOL AT A TIME check presentation, where we will give a school a $3,000 check!
