PSA Policy

These are the guidelines for public service announcements sent to KTBS-3.

Spots will be screened for quality and subject matter. They should address issues of concern to the ArkLaTex or causes that will make life in our area better.

Organizations sending public service announcement must be able to provide proof of tax exempt status.

Keep the commercial aspects of an event out of your spot. Viewers can call a phone number mentioned in your spot to find out about ticket sale locations, prices etc.

Spots should be in beta sp format.

Check to make sure the who, what, when, where and why are mentioned.

Be sure and include how many spots are on your tape, their length and a deadline for them to stop airing.

Spots should arrive at the station at least 6 weeks before your event.
