North DeSoto hosted Parkway, Northwood, Loyola and Haughton Wednesday morning in a multiple-game session of 7-on-7 football.  Outside of receivers colliding with defensive backs while pursuing a pass, the contact is limited.

That will change when they put the pads on in August.  The Pop Warner youth football league announced earlier Wednesday their rules now include a lot less contact during practices.  On the other end of the spectrum, the NFL Players Association made fewer, less physical and shorter practices a part of their collective bargaining agreement.

In between those two age groups and skill sets, what are high school coaches doing in this era of safety conciousness?
