The Championship Bull Riding series kicked off their 2013 campaign with the Tuff Hedeman Shootout right here in Bossier City. In front of a packed house at the CenturyLink Center, only the top 24 riders in the world gathered for the event.
The new 8 second format was on display for the first time ever so the riders were guaranteed money during every round.
But in the end, it came down to the final four: Wesley Silcox and Jared Long were both bucked off in the final round. Corey Bailey rode an 89.5, but it was Kountze, Texas native Cody Teel who wins the Bossier City event with a 90 in the final ride. He walks away with a $14,000 prize.
