Louisiana Tech may have their quarterback of the future, but man, does he have a past.
According to KNOE-TV in Monroe, former Oregon Ducks QB, Jeremiah Masoli visited the campus this past weekend and is also looking at Mississippi State.
Massoli, who was a duck in hot water academically and criminally, recently was booted off the Oregon squad and is looking for a place to hang his helmet for one final year after sitting out a year due to transfer rules.
Even if Masoli can qualify academically, he has a couple of hurdles to clear in the justice system. He was suspended in March for the upcoming season for his role in the theft of a laptop and guitar from an Oregon fraternity house and earlier this month he was busted for pot possession, rolling through a stop sign and driving with a suspended license.
