Former Parkway Panther two-sport star, Kolby Copeland has been suspended by Minor League Baseball for refusing to take an offseason drug test. Minor League and Major League Baseball each treat a refusal as a failed drug test, hence the stiff sentence.
Copeland, considered a top 20 prospect in the Miami Marlins organization, is on the roster of the Batavia Muckdogs of the New York-Penn League. He will miss the first 50 games of the season.
