LA Techsters Kelia Shelton: National Player of the Week

Kelia Shelton had the best week in women's college hoops last week--- why else would the U.S. Basketball Writer's Association honor the Lady Techster with the national player of the week award?
Shelton averaged 33 and a half points in two wins, scoring a WAC record 45 points in the win over Texas-San Antonio. Head coach, Teresa Weatherspoon normally would like to see the stat sheet with more balance---but she was okay with the exception against the Lady Road Runners.
