NSU women keeping 'giant-killer' reputation this season

The Lady Demons continued their giant killer reputation, stringing together two straight wins over Southland Conference powerhouses Oral Roberts and Central Arkansas.
The wins haven't been pretty, especially yesterday's 52-47 victory over UCA.NSU shot 42 percent overall and couldn't get their normal shots to fall, but in the second half they shot 52 percent.
But it was a pair of key defensive stops in the final minute that held off the Lady Bears, stemming from the Lady Demons gladiator mentality to move on to the next play and not to dwell on mistakes, even though they're such a young squad.
NSU travels to Southeastern on Thursday.
