The Parkway Panthers broke open a tight game by capitalizing on Byrd turnovers en route to a 44-14 win over the Jackets.
The game was tied 14-all late in the second quarter before Parkway's Brandon Harris capped a short drive with a lunge into the end zone to send the Panthers to the locker room with a 20-14 lead.
Byrd would cough up the ball on their next four possessions, in turn, giving the game to Parkway on a green, plastic platter. The Panthers were more than happy to take advantage of their newfound possessions, sending Byrd to their first district loss.
Parkway is 7-0 overall, 2-0 in 1-5A play.
