Scott Boniol, M.D.
A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Dr. Boniol completed his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport (LSUHSC), his internship/residency in internal medicine at the University of South Alabama and his fellowship at LSUHSC. He is board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology and specializes in breast cancer, biologically-specific colon and rectal cancer chemotherapy, indolent and aggressive lymphoma and benign hematology.
Neelima Chintapalli, M.D.
Dr. Chintapalli completed her residency at New York Medical College and fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She treats hematology/oncology patients, specializing in breast, lung and colon-rectal patients. She is a native of south Louisiana and board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology.
Roscoe Chan, M.D.
Radiation oncologist Dr. Chan is double board certified by both American and Canadian Boards. He has extensive experience in image-guided intensity modulated radiation therapy for all cancer types and is also very familiar with stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors and stereotactic body radiation therapy for lung, liver and spine tumors. Dr. Chan has performed thousands of special procedures including mammosite or SAVI brachytherapy for breast cancers, implants for gynecologic cancers, prostate seed implants, and brachytherapy for skin cancers and sarcomas.
Robert Massingill, M.D.
Dr. Massingill received his medical degree, completed his residency and fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and has served the Shreveport area for the past 20 years, providing his patients with a passion and commitment to palliative care.
Ricky Owers, M.D.
A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Owers completed his medical degree at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, received degrees in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, followed by his gynecologic oncology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is fellowship trained in robotics and provides radical pelvic/abdominal surgery, laser therapy, palliative services, chemotherapy, and minimally invasive robotic procedures.
Christopher Snead, M.D.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Snead specializes in hematology/oncology with a special interest in colon-rectal, breast, lung, and lymphoma. He received his medical degree, completed his residency and fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He is board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology.
Molly Boyd Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology. She is experienced in treating all types of cancers and blood diseases, and she understands that illness not only affects the patient, but families and loved ones as well.
Kate Young, RN-ACNP
Kate Young has worked with CHRISTUS Schumpert's Cancer Treatment Center team for nearly 20 years. She is certified in advanced oncology and is a genetic educator. Young is an alumna of the City of Hope intensive course in cancer risk assessment.
