Drunk driving ends in a crash and burn

SHREVEPORT, La. -

A man is in jail after slamming his SUV into a building in the 4200 block of Pro Street.

It happened  just before six this morning.

Police stated the driver was speeding through the neighborhood and wasn't able to make a sharp turn.

The man crashed  into a  building and seconds later the suburban he was driving burst into flames.

The driver was not injured; however he was booked into the Caddo parish jail on DUI charges.
