AID: Remembering April Fulghum

Posted: Updated:

The murder trial of a former maintenance man, charged with killing his boss will get underway next month.  Robert Earl Walter is charged with 2nd degree murder for last year's killing of April Fulgham.  It happened at the Lexington Place Apartments in Bossier City.  While Walter's lawyer prepares for trial, the family of April Fulgham prepares for its first Mother's Day without her. Her husband Scott will spend this mother's day with his 12 year old son Hayden and 5 year old son Roan.  They'll visit their mother's grave in Greenwood. He says they'll try to make it special.  She just won't be there in body.  The family plans to park next to her grave and play some of her favorite songs.  Among them, Adele's "One and Only".  It was one of April's favorites songs and the last one she danced to with her husband.  Scott Fulgham says it's been hard coping without his wife, but the family continues to heal.
