BOSSIER CITY, La. -

Time now to find out who is this weeks "One Class at a Time" winner.

Education reporter, Eric James, along with a few our sponsors surprised Bellaire Elementary school teacher Jan Rogers.

The school practices the 7 habits of highly effective people.

Rogers plans to use the $1000 grant to buy journals for her students.

"What I have asked my students to do is to think about what they are going to learn that day before they learn it and then they can go back and reflect on it in their journals," says Rogers.

We would like to thank our sponsors Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Suddenlink and Christus Schumpert Group Practice Pediatric Associates.

If you are an area teacher and would like to apply for a grant, you can find an application and details here at KTBS.Com by going to the community tab then click 'One Class At A Time'.
