Update: Tyler police seek gang member in aggravated robbery

The Tyler, Texas Police Department says that the gang member who was wanted for an aggravated robbery, has turned himself in.

Police were called to the Pinnacle at North Chase Apartments in the 3600 block of North Broadway in Tyler just before 3:30 p.m. Three suspects allegedly forced their way into an apartment that was occupied by a female and three young children. The suspects pointed a gun at the woman while they ransacked the apartment and stole numerous electronics.

Investigators were able to identify one of the suspects involved as Jarome Antoine Wilson of Tyler who is a known gang member. Wilson surrendered to investigators on Wednesday. His bond is set at $500,000.

The case remains under investigation.
