Devon Patton

Our new evening anchor, Devon Patton was born in the "City of Brotherly Love," Philadelphia, PA and raised mostly across the Ben Franklin Bridge  in Willingboro, New Jersey, famous for multiple gold medal Olympic winner Carl Lewis.

Devon graduated from one of the top communications schools in America, Syracuse University, with a degree in Communications. While studying at Syracuse University he was captain of the track and field team and specialized in the 400 intermediate hurdles. He is a two time Big East Champion. 

Before coming to Shreveport, Devon worked as an anchor/reporter in Lexington, KY, Omaha, NE, New Bern and Charlotte, NC.  He got into the business after interning, then working as a production assistant at the NBC station in Philadelphia.

"I am loving the flavor of Louisiana people.  They open up their hearts and greet you with big smiles." 

In his spare time Devon enjoys listening to jazz, playing the drums and spending time with his family. Devon and his wife Laura have two daughters; 5-year-old Naiya and 2-year-old Bree.  Devon also has a 10-year-old son named Devon.

"My family and I are happy to make the Shreveport Metro area our new home."
